New Chemical Vessels to Boost Indonesia’s Role as Regional Chemical Distribution Hub
PT Chandra Daya Investasi Tbk (CDI Group) is enhancing its logistics business capabilities by adding two 9,000 DWT chemical vessels currently under construction in Japan. These vessels will fly both Indonesian and international flags to support service flexibility, optimize operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with maritime regulations.
The new fleet will strengthen distribution connectivity across Indonesia and Southeast Asia, while also opening opportunities for global market expansion. In partnership with leading technology providers, the vessels are scheduled to begin operations in the first half of 2026. With these new internationally-standardized ships, CDI Group is not only expanding its logistics capacity but also reinforcing Indonesia’s position as a regional distribution hub for the chemical industry.
