

CDI Group Commissions Ethylene Gas Carrier Vessels to Strengthen Petrochemical Supply Chain Integration
PT Chandra Daya Investasi (CDI Group), an infrastructure investment entity under Chandra Asri Group, through its subsidiary PT Chandra Shipping International (CSI), has officially commenced operations of two Ethylene gas carrier vessels. This move marks a strategic step in enhancing maritime logistics services and supporting the smooth distribution of petrochemical feedstock between Chandra Asri Group’s facility in Cilegon and Aster Chemical & Energy Pte. Ltd. in Singapore. With licenses to operate in both domestic and international waters, CSI offers efficient and competitive feedstock transportation solutions across the region.
In addition to supporting internal group needs, CSI's services are also available to external parties. As of June 2025, CSI operates eight chemical and gas vessels and is currently exploring expansion into ship management and maintenance services. With a strong commitment to providing integrated and sustainable maritime logistics solutions, CDI Group continues to strengthen its role as a Growth Partner for the petrochemical industry in Southeast Asia.
